Grief Coach
When you lose a relationship, loved one, career, pet or friend it can be utterly traumatizing. Everyone experiences a unique level of grief. Some shut down and go on auto pilot until one day they erupt. Some struggle with fear, guilt, loss,anger and longstanding grief.
I am here to help you overcome, with work and a particular set of coping skills I have developed by dealing with much of the emotional aspects of grief. I have been a caretaker multiple times in my life. I have cared for loved ones inflicted with the AIDS Virus, Alzheimer's disease, Cancer and Covid. In all these instances death was the outcome. Nothing in life prepares you, for the gut wrenching grief, that overcomes you when you lose a person that you love.
Throughout my coaching profession I realized that grief extends to relationships, careers, lifestyle changes etc. I decided that I would help people navigate through the dark times with the intention of seeing brighter days ahead. Like all things in life, it is challenging, because the heart, is the hardest thing to heal. Let me coach you through the process, I truly understand your pain.
How to Survive Incarceration from A Woman's Perspective
Coach did an amazing job detailing the prison experience thru the eyes of a woman. I felt the fear, remorse and anguish as she recounted her stay in the county jail. The interviews with the ladies in real time was riveting. This book left me shell shocked and determined never to jeopardize my freedom.

My Coaching Story
Experienced. Certified. Supportive.
I’ve been a certified Life Coach since 2013. I have also obtained plenty of certifications along the way. I could list them again but at the end of the day I am more interested in sharing my life experiences. My mother died from the AIDS Virus when she was 36, and I was 16 years old. That devasting turn of events set my life on a negative trajectory. I became a menace, addicted to drugs and alcohol, a victim of domestic violence at that tender age and afflicted by bouts of rage that resulted in incarceration. Oh, and I can't forget I became addicted to money and shoplifting. When I had my precious daughter, I suffered with postpartum depression and suicidal thoughts. Throughout it all I cared for my mother, godmother who had Alzheimer's disease, and my dearest best friend who died from cancer. It seems I experienced grief, anger, toxic behaviors and negative situations my entire existence. I wrote a few books under the pseudonym Mack Mama and began reinventing myself. I became a motivational speaker and mentored at risk youth. I was compelled to help the incarcerated to inspire and share my skills for success. I worked on Rikers Island with clients that were facing long sentences, I worked in halfway houses with people who were on their way home and needed guidance and tools to make the transition from prison to society productively. I coached, counseled and mentored as a coping method. I give and I receive great energy and life skills. I lost 40 pounds after becoming a certified personal trainer and overcame the dire symptoms of covid-19 twice with the use of my holistic supplements. In a nutshell, I am here for a reason. I appreciate her for taking out the time to listen to my phone calls and read my letters which were often written in a cryptic manner in my attempt to conceal my suffering.
But she was always capable of reading between the lines and zeroing in on the matter that created a negative mental picture in my mind. She knew how to remind me of the fact that life isn't always where you are geographically; but it's more about where you are psychologically.
She made me concentrate on the things that would matter in the long run by making me eat properly, exercise, hydrate and study materials that will prepare me for society even though it was my belief that I would never see the streets again.

Her assistance has help me look into the mirror and say that I can't blame anyone else for my predicament other than myself and the only way that I can undo this mess is by dismantling all of the negative thoughts that are inside of my head. It took years of being a stubborn rebellious teen to create the mess that I got myself into; and it took years of working on myself to slowly remove all the layers of confusion, doubt, anger and selfishness.
I want the world to know that Coach Coco is a gift to humanity and a woman who does not judge others. I was a brick wall that she penetrated with her honesty and desire to see me believe in myself so that I could lead a fruitful life.

The pandemic wreaked havoc on us all, and when I started with Coach we were dead in the middle of it. I needed a confidant and support. She got me through the long bouts of boredom, depression and fear. The worst part was when I lost both my grandparents from that monster covid. I went thru the wall not being able to visit them in the home and the grief and guilt was so heavy, if not for Coach COCO I don't think I could have made it through. She is more than a Life Coach she is truly a healer!

I met Coach at a gym she was a fitness trainer and we had a free session together, not gonna lie my motivation was meh, but after a few hours with her I turned into superman! Ha ha, She was firm and didn't put up with my whining. I booked a few more sessions with her and discovered that she was also a life coach. I have been seeing Coach Coco for several years and she has really saved my marriage, when we first started sessions I was guarded and I opened up effortlessly after she shared her story and offered such sage advice. Soon after I brought in my husband and she helped us learn that we had to regain respect for each other. The way we communicated was so toxic that we were on the verge of a breakup. There was infidelity involved and I was so hurt that i couldn't get pass it and working with Coach fixed my blockage. I finally managed to overcome my fear of him cheating again and my mistrust.
